Bio-Art Festival 2013 at National Centre for Biological SciencesWe created a sculptural and functional piece of natural Architecture in the Bio-Art festival 2013 at NCBS, Bangalore. In this group project we used a combination of bamboo, earth, and upcycled waste materials to create innovate, aesthetically exciting, and useful structures. At the most basic level, we challenged ourselves to create "Place" with our own hands as a community of Worker Designers. The research component to the project included a degree of sketch/journaling, blog documentation, model making, reading, and writing.I prepared to work with my hands in a very physical manner, which was strenuous and made me sore at the end of the day.I was positive and creative in these conditions, which facilitated me to learn more than I imagined.
